We enjoyed our stay at the Hard Rock Hotel in the Dominican Republic. It was a long flight coming all the way from San Diego, CA … but it was so worth the 10 hour fly-time! I highly recommend booking your trip here. They have a honeymoon package where you get food, drink, massages, excursions all included!<— the best part! …. And after the wedding.. the last thing we wanted to talk about was money!

a hairpiece that was never a hairpiece until I made it one.
…. found at nordstrom 3 days before the wedding by my mother when we were picking up her shoes.
It was only $50! Which sounds like a lot, I know. However when you start to look at flower hair pieces you can’t get them for under $50! THey typically range from $50-$275. And the $50 ones- are simply, not cute (think- fake silk flower glued to a hairpin).
So we turned a purse accessory into a hair piece.
It was hand-crafted of pearl colored feathers with a few black feather spriggs added in. Still to this day, I have never seen anything more beautiful. I truly feel that we manifested it- because it made my look and my day!
I had the make up artist do a smokey eye to really glam it up!
